It is located in the old fishing village of Barceloneta, a picturesque area full of winding streets, where you can discover lots of quaint bars and restaurants and enjoy some of the best seafood available in the city. Barceloneta offers the best of the city's beaches as well as easy access to all city centre locations. The Old City (Barri Gotic), Las Ramblas, and the fashionable Borne area are all within easy walking distance. Within Barceloneta you can enjoy the atmosphere of an area that has retained its traditional charm over the years, and also have easy access to modern facilities (supermarkets, internet cafés, cinemas, shopping etc.).
Within stumbling distance are a selection of beaches, the Marina Mare Magnum Complex (shopping center, cinemas, nightlife), Port Olympic, and the traditional bars and restaurants of Barceloneta.
Also within a short walk you will find the Gothic Cathedral, Placa Reial, the Picasso Museum, Museum of Modern Art, the Borne District, the Basilica Santa Maria del Mar, the Boqueria Markets, Park Ciutadella & Barcelona Zoo Aquarium (Europe's largest), the Museum of the History of Catalunya, and the Maritime Museum.
